Air-conditioning Inspections
All buildings with air-conditioning systems greater than 250kW should already have an air-conditioning system report.
Buildings with air-conditioning systems between 12kW and 250kW will need a report by January 2011.
Reports are needed at 5 yearly intervals.
The aim of Air-conditioning reports in line with Commercial & Residential EPCs and Display Energy Certificates is to reduce costs and carbon dioxide emissions.
There is a document " A guide to business on air-conditioning inspections" which we can send you. This explains the nature of the inspection and when one is needed. Alternatively it can be down loaded from the CLG website free of charge.
